Welcome to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry

The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is a non-profit ecumenical organization that serves thousands of people every year who need food assistance in the communities of Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Glen Ellyn, Lisle, Lombard, and Wheaton.  Visit out Donations and Volunteers pages to find out how you can help support our mission.   If you would like to shop for food at the Pantry, please call to make an appointment. Thank you GW Student Council

GW Student CouncilGlenbard West conducted a food drive and collected enough food to fill 10 shopping carts. West’s Student Council hosted this school-wide event where each 8th period class collected canned goods for several weeks. The food was donated to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

Food Drive at Nutrition Expo

Donate a nonperishable food item at the Nutrition Expo and receive a free daily guest pass to Fountain View Fitness for each item donated (limit 2 per person). Donations will go to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

Happy Birthday Anna Mae!

imageAnna Mae Bedsworth is a 7 year old GE resident and a student at Wheaton Christian grammar school. She asked her friends to bring food for the Food Pantry instead of presents for her 7th B day party. She collected 10 bags for the Pantry!

A Celebration of Tables


A Celebration of Tables, an annual community and charity event hosted by Glen Ellyn Newcomers Club, celebrates the club’s 60+ year history of hospitality.  This unique event showcases 20 themed tablescapes, styled by Newcomers members, to celebrate hospitality and the joy of entertaining.

Tickets available online and in downtown Glen Ellyn during March 2015. This event will benefit the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

Get your discounted tickets now, they make a great gift for a friend, neighbor, and/or co-workers. This is an amazing event every year showcasing some of the most beautiful homes in Glen Ellyn. Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare is a long time supporter of Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

The Pantry Needs your Brown Paper Bags!

The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is running short of brown paper grocery bags. If you have extra brown bags, please drop them off at the Pantry Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., or Tuesday evening, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
